My 2nd Dubai Travel from Pakistan

I flew from Jinnah Terminal Karachi to Dubai on Air Blue’s flight PA 110. The crew on board were really helpful, serving meals and tea during the flight. When we got to Dubai Airport, there was a train to take us to collect our luggage, which is something they offer for most flights.

Since December 2021, this is my second trip. Luckily, I didn’t have much luggage, just my laptop and a carry-on. When I stepped out of the airport, my brother Mubeen and our friend Mr. Shahnawaz Kambrani were there to give me a warm welcome.

Tips Dubai Travel

When visiting the US Consulate General in Dubai for an appointment, remember certain protocols. Avoid bringing bags, laptops, or mobile devices inside; instead, entrust them to a friend who can wait for you outside.

Dubai travel offers excellent recreational facilities while waiting. Photography of consulate premises is prohibited for security reasons. Unlike Abu Dhabi, Emirati Gem provides suitable waiting areas for friends accompanying applicants.

Applying for a US visa in Dubai is advisable due to these conveniences. During the interview, exercise caution by reviewing your application details. Speak confidently and accurately, avoiding vague responses, as Americans value direct communication and precision.

Waiting for Friend

My brother went inside the consulate general and informed me to wait across the consulate. Suddenly, he returned, explaining that he wasn’t permitted to bring his bag, laptop, or mobile device inside. Thus, he left them with me.

I waited and began to enjoy the surroundings. There were ferries, ships, and what seemed like a beach nearby.

As I began to film the consulate, a security officer stationed nearby intervened, prohibiting me from recording. On my way back, I attempted to capture a photo of the consulate’s signboard, but once more, the security personnel intervened, advising against taking pictures.

Secular Sensation: Dubai’s Ramadan Dining Scene

DINING IN RAMAZAN KARIM

During Ramadan, despite being a secular city, Emirati Gem maintains its open-mindedness by allowing restaurants in areas like Burjuman and throughout the city to operate. This inclusive approach respects both the fasting practices of Muslims and the lifestyle choices of non-Muslim residents and tourists, reflecting Dubai’s diverse and tolerant ethos.

Bottom Line

Come to Dubai and discover its amazing sights like tall buildings, busy markets, and fancy things to do. See famous places like the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain.

Try exciting activities like going on desert adventures or visiting cool places like Palm Jumeirah. Enjoy tasty food from all over the world and stay in fancy hotels.

Dubai has a mix of old and new stuff that’s perfect for people who love adventure, luxury, or learning about different cultures. Whether you’re here to shop, see the sights, or just relax, Dubai travel is full of wonderful experiences you won’t forget.
